The Short essay series will be restarting again with more vigor and more insight than listening to me rant and rave. This first one will be entitled “DIY of Beer” it was an idea i threw out to the internet a while ago but this time it is going to be reborn with more awesome and data.
We all know i am a homebrewer so it is a topic that i want to cover on and how it is a revolution ion many ways and a way for people to say no to crappy beer and also it is craft beer week so what better timing.
I have no idea what’s going on here, but I approve.

I don’t think I am forgetting anything I haven’t seen yet.
If only i was not a bumbass and preordered it. i would be playing it. But i will be this weekend.
So I have been thinking again. It is time again to write another topic.
This time it is about the change in culture of the Geek, nerd, and dork sub culture. The main thing is not a change in the sub culture of its own but how it is becoming more popular to be a one of us. Kinda sad knowing that we at one point were the bane of most all jokes and insults.
So this past weekend me and my dad lost a great friend. The brewing operation i run lost or keezer (also know as a kegator). The compressor on it finally died. Sad day it really was. So we are now looking to up grade from what used to be a 5 cubic foot to a 22 cubic foot. What this means is lagers become possible and more kegs running at once. this could be awesome.

So i love the internet. It is one of the great wonders of the world. It provides alot for us in the way of resources. But has anyone ever really stopped and looked at what it has become.
This post is not really an essay just me sitting at my desk reading material about the internet. The following link is to my favorite story on the web. It also really hits on one major topic i am extremely passionate about. Net Neutrality. I have said this and i mean it “If my cell provider (version) gives google preferential bandwidth i will drop them and take the fee.”

I love this piece. and so should you. and the scary thing is that this was written in 2005. from then to know the growth has been exponential.
